((I was trying to draw HW&HD Fluffmoon, I really was. I even looked up uniforms and everything.

Yet, somehow, I ended up with a tiny drawing of ickle baby Artemis instead, and the idea for Fluffmoon has vanished as though it had never been.

Because little!Artemis is Just That Cute.))

"You're not like any noble I ever imagined," Laramie murmured, then flushed again when Felix turned a grin on him.

"My young lord, I take that as a grand compliment," he stated, and Laramie couldn't help but smile at that.

"Take what?"

The Rose King was there again, standing close at Laramie's side, and the redhead tensed in indecision - should he stand, bow? Groveling was out, it'd just made the fae lord muss his clothes in the dirt, but Laramie was sure he ought to do something, even if Felix seemed to have no such inclinations. "Our guest tells me I don't match his notions of nobility," the daisy-fae was telling his lord jovially. "I'm sure I'm much too handsome, for one thing."

"And humble," was the dry response.

"Oh, yes, certainly humble," Felix laughed. "In contests of humility, my lord Rosa, I stand second only to you."

"Oh, not at all, Erigo. You far surpass me in all aspects of being humble."

Laramie was beginning to get the impression that Felix and the Rose King were teasing each other. He let his gaze flick upwards at Felix, taking in his merry smile, then turned his attention to the fae lord.

He wasn't smiling, but behind the gravity of his expression was a flicker of wry amusement, an echo of Felix's merriment. As if sensing his guest's attention, Lord Rosa glanced downward, meeting Laramie's gaze with a quiet curiosity. "Tigerlily?"

Laramie hastily dropped his eyes. "H-hello, sire."

He'd already said that once today, curse it to the seven hills, but the Rose King didn't seem to mind. "Hello, tigerlily," he replied, and the kindness in his voice made Laramie long for bravery enough to offer him a smile.
