Jun. 13th, 2007 12:46 pm((Okay... I just heard the Black Lab cover of the TF:TM theme. To be oerfectly honest, when the music itself started up I was happy enough, then the vocals began and I nearly fell out of my chair with surprise. Nothing like the original, nothing like what I might have been expecting.
But good gravy if it doesn't grow on you. I was grinning like a maniac about half-way through the second verse, and not just because of the shiny on the video - it's nothing like the shiny glory of the original version, but this has a wonderful gravelly, drawling something about it that makes my hair stand on end. Which only makes the comparison between the caterwauling that is the official new TF movie theme more painful. ¬¬
Well, I might be surprised when they use the MuteMath one in the Movie. (I probably won't be, but we'll see. >_>) I'm not about to turn into a frothing fanbrat, 'cause you all know I'm not quite that bad, I hope. ;) I will, however, squee very loudly about
And now I go to grab an icecream and sit in the sun, after I put the washing out. *industrious!*))
