((I was trying to draw HW&HD Fluffmoon, I really was. I even looked up uniforms and everything.

Yet, somehow, I ended up with a tiny drawing of ickle baby Artemis instead, and the idea for Fluffmoon has vanished as though it had never been.

Because little!Artemis is Just That Cute.))

lilHelios: *clearly Artemis is determined to go over there, and if he wants to keep his new friend he'll be going over there too* *sticks close as a burr to Artemis's shoulder, eyes darting around him*

lilArtemis: *it's as safe as safe can be down here, look...dim, pale sunlight caught and held in flower blossoms, all the colours you could ask for, and so bright and green and lush compared to the dirty streets they're used to...* *holds Helios' hand tight, looking around them wide-eyed and delighted*

lilHelios: *clings to him tightly, but with every breath of cool, fresh air he's slowly forgetting to be afraid* *gazes with open wonder at the greenery, having never known green came so bright* *softly* It's so beautiful...

lilArtemis: *beams at him, eyes shining bright as the flowers around them* *just as softly, as though the flowers alone make this a hallowed place* Yeah...come in here t'sit by th'tree, sometimes, where th'flower lady can' see me. *wanders a little further in, looking around for the fluffy grass he wants...*

Helios: *follows, of course, sticking close and watching where he puts his feet - won't crush even the smallest blade of grass, not for all the gil in the world* Have you ever seen her?

lilArtemis: *nods emphatically, then squeaks with glee and leans over to try and get a hold of some fluffy grass. Eeee!* She's really tall, an' really pretty. She looks nice, bu'... *hint of a shrug*

lilHelios: *nods, understanding. You can never be too careful...* *reaches out to touch the grass* Soft...

lilArtemis: *grins at him* Jus' wait til I c'n ge' some o'this. 'S all soft an' fluffy an' tickly... *reaches, reaches, stretches a bit further - then loses his balance with a startled squeak and goes head-over-heels into the patch of scrubby grass*

lilHelios: *yeep!* *is yanked over with him, flopping on the grass all spinny-dizzy* ...heh.

lilArtemis: *grazes his little hands on the tough stalks, looking dolefully at the grass stains on his knees* Uh-oh. 'M in trouble.

lilHelios: *examines the stains professionally* Just a little bleach. Wouldn't be too hard to get 'em out.

lilArtemis: *startled look up at him, blinking hard as his hards sting* ...Yeah? Y'think so? *has clever friend!*

lilHelios: *nods, straightening confidently - he thinks I'm clever!* Sure. I get stains like that out all the time. *as well as worse, but we'll not get into that.*

lilArtemis: *well, he must be clever! Artemis has no idea how you get stains out of clothes; they always seem to stick all the harder when he tries* Yeah? Y'mus' be really clever.

lilHelios: *shrugs one shoulder with an embarrassed grin* Not really, I just did what it said to do on the bottle... *...eeee!*

lilArtemis: *seems very distracted by the grass underfoot just then, wriggling uncomfortably* ...Can' read. *make that very, very clever.*

lilHelios: *looks surprised. He can't? But it's easy, you just...*

lilArtemis: *looks dubiously up at him, unconvinced* 'M no' clever. *said as though stating something as simple as 'the Plate is big' or 'ShinRa's powerful'* 'Ve never been able t'. *he's not book-clever, he knows that*

lilHelios: I'm not either, really... besides, reading's fun. There's lots of stuff to read - about ShinRa and SOLDIER and all kinds of things.

lilArtemis: *again with the stating-the-obvious tone* Yeah y'are... *...books about SOLDIER? And ShinRa? Where?* *his eyes light up, and it's clear Helios just said the magic words* Wha' kinds o'stuff?

lilHelios: *shakes his head* Nuh-uh... *eee, something he likes!* Like newspapers. You read all about Sephiroth and Zack and everything...

lilArtemis: *bounces excitedly* Where'd y'get 'm? Can we get'm now? Show me? *squeak!*

lilHelios: I have some at - *at home. No, no, bad idea.* There are vending machines that sell them all over the place. *winces*

lilArtemis: *catches the wince, but knows enough about not wanting to bring people home not to ask.* Don' have any money, though... *frowns thoughtfully*

lilHelios: *confidently* I have a little. *he'd been saving up for candy, but this is better.*
